Privacy Policy

This policy explains, plainly, what data StudySarthi handles and where it goes. Short version: everything currently stays in your own browser — nothing is sent to a server, because there isn't one yet.
What data is stored, and where
The tools below use your browser's localStorage, which only your browser can read, and only stays on the device you're using:

What this means in practice
- No data is transmitted to any server — there's no backend to receive it.
- Data doesn't sync across devices or browsers.
- Clearing your browser's site data, cache, or switching devices will erase it, since it isn't backed up anywhere else.
- No cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts are currently used on this site.
The login/signup page
The current login/signup flow is a static frontend preview — it doesn't send your name, email, or password anywhere, and there's no real account system behind it yet.
When this will change
Once real authentication and a backend (e.g. Firebase or Supabase) are added, some data will move to a real database so it can sync across your devices. This policy will be updated at that point to explain exactly what's collected, how it's secured, and how you can request deletion.
